Overview
Welded galvanized pipe combines a welded carbon-steel tube with a zinc-coated surface for structural, fencing, conduit, greenhouse, and general utility work. The RFQ must distinguish pre-galvanized tube from hot-dip galvanizing after fabrication because coating coverage, weld-area treatment, dimensions, finish, and applicable standards differ between the two supply routes. For a controlled quotation, the RFQ must identify the governing standard and grade, outside diameter or section size, wall thickness, length, end finish, quantity, coating, service, and destination port.
