Square and rectangular hollow sections are supplied for frames, columns, trusses, equipment bases, and general fabrication under structural product standards such as EN 10219 or ASTM A500. Buyers should identify SHS or RHS geometry, outside dimensions, wall, corner requirements, grade, weld route, and length. Section properties and design capacity remain subject to the project engineer. For a controlled quotation, the RFQ must identify the governing standard and grade, outside diameter or section size, wall thickness, length, end finish, quantity, coating, service, and destination port.
